Rapid Detox

The Accelerated Neuro-Regulation Protocol

Rapid Detox with ANR

The Accelerated Neuro-Regulation protocol for rapid detoxification is broken down into three distinct phases.

PHASE ONE: Pre-Treatment

Pre-Treament is performed in a hospital where the patient undergoes a comprehensive physical examination. It is critical that the patient be admitted a minimum of 24 hours before procedure for recognition of patent's metabolism, recognition of drug interaction and safety protocol pre-procedure. The patient is then pre-medicated to stabilize body functions, which helps to achieve a smooth and successful procedure. The pre-treatment duration and protocol is based on each individual patient's medical and dependency history; the goal is to achieve the best results while maintaining the safety of the patient. Specialized physicians consult patients with certain pre-existing conditions to minimize risks and maximize positive results and comfort.

PHASE TWO: The Procedure

Once pre-screening and pre-medication are completed, a board-certified anesthesiologist performs the ANR treatment while the patient sleeps comfortably under a light anesthetic. Special medications facilitate the cleansing of opiates from the patient's opiate receptors.

This accelerated withdrawal occurs within a period of hours, not days as with traditional methods. Upon awakening, the patient is no longer physically dependent on opiates and has no conscious awareness of experiencing the process. The patient is monitored during their recovery - usually 24 to 48 hours, or until discharge is authorized by a physician. This will depend on patient's medical and dependency history. In order to achieve maximum success and safety with the procedure, no protocol or discharge date should be pre-determined. Determination of patient's release will be decided by physician based on patient's overall psychological and physical condition.

PHASE THREE: Follow-Up Care

Following treatment, the patient is prescribed a daily dose of oral Naltrexone for up to one year. Naltrexone, a non-addictive, non-mood altering medication, is known as an opiate inhibitor that eliminates the physical cravings, and prevents the patient from experiencing any narcotic effects (high) if they were to ingest opiate substances. An after-care program is designed to help patients move beyond their dependency. No after-care should be designed without a proper post-procedure assessment, especially for chronic pain patients.
